This is the time of the year that we celebrate our greatest gift; the
birth of OUr Lord Jesus Christ. I hope it brings your families closer,
instills a sense of peace and has you looking forward to the New Year.
Shows come up very quickly in the new year so if you are near
Brownwood, Texas between February 2 and the 15th stop into the Star of
Texas Art Show. I hope to have several pieces in it.
The Central Texas Pastel Society has their annual show and competition
February 1 through March 31 at the Lost Pines Art Center in Bastrop,
Texas. I will have my art in the show.
And, as far as I know now, I will be at the St. David's Hospital Show
February 29 through April 24th. This is at St. David's Hospital in
Georgetown, Texas.
I had a wonderful evening demonstrating pastels to the Comanche County
Art Association in mid-November. This is a large group of wonderful
artists and I am flattered they chose me to demonstrate.
The best to you and yours and as always, buy art for yourself and
others; it is the gift that keeps giving. I added two new artists this
year to my collection and love both pictures. I love to sit and just
stare. Many thanks to Dawn Emerson and Marla Bagetta for making my life
better!
Have a wonderful Christmas and the best in the New Year!
